I was able to play the game just find with my brother and friends 3 days ago, I try to load the game up today and I see this screen and I have no clue where to look for the associated files.

this screen shows you the location of the offending file. in this case it’s in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam, and you need to remove user32.dll
