I've noticed that the water moves to fast. Just watched a video on yt- underworlds 5 monster waves. Waves actually move quite slow. It should stop the physics from doing that sinking thing and act more controlable

yea the waves are too close to each other so you end up just faceplanting into every wave or going so slow you get nowhere

I think that waves are okay. I've seen many like these in real life. Period of waves will depend on the depth of the sea and the kind of waves. These big waves are called swell and usually have a longer period. Wind waves are much shorter. Swell and wind waves can move in different directions and have different period in the same time.

Yeah I get that, and I love the big swells. But it seems to me the bigger the wave the slower it is and smaller waves move faster. The whole physics need tweeking, like higher gravity but more buoyancy as well.
I personally think a lot would be solved with slower waves. Like the cutting into waves and bouncing out again.
I'd also love no autocentring on the wheel, like Valhiem. But that's just hopeful thinking
