There are only 2 cards in this set which are naturally 9 power or higher: Cave Lizard and Cursed Gorillion (and Berserker Rabbit conditionally). However, with the Boost mechanic, there are plenty of other creatures that can end up with power 9 or above easily.
The player controlling Spirit Maki can also Boost opponent's cards to get them to 9 or above. And Spirit Maki being Sneaky and have a Defeated trigger is a very interesting combination (1 of only 2 cards so far that has it!) - it means that the opponent will really want to defeat Spirit Maki to stop the Sneaky, which then activates its effect!

It's cool how we have the Hunter, Spirit Cheetah, which takes control of a creature with power 2 or less on defeat. And the Spirit Maki is the opposite, a Sneaky taking control of a creature with power 9 or more on defeat.
