Power-wise, Luchataur's rampage can only be stopped by 5 other cards in the deck (the other Luchataur, Snail Hydra x 2, Gorillion, and Lone Yeti.). So if Luchataur is the highest power creature in play, which is likely, it's Frenzy can put a lot of pressure on the opponent.

However, just like Gorillion, its weakness is that it isn't Tough. The opponent having any Poisonous creature means that Luchataur can't attack without being defeated. Other cards like Explosive Toad and Tiger Squirrel are also great counters.

Even though Poisonous creatures are pretty common, Luchataur can still be used as a defensive wall, preventing the opponent from being able to attack.

We shouldn't forget the powet the Urchin Hurler can have on allied creatures. It can help 8 power creatures to go over Luchataur's strength. Both Gorilion and Luchataur have a good impact on the game. Both scary brutes which need some trickery to defeat. By themselves, they can win most of the plain old combats. But yes, Luchataur is great to quickly get rid of opponent cards as it can almost kill anything.

I think that's where the Rhino Turtle shines. 8 power tough frenzy is a good balance from a 10 power / 9 power frenzy.

Agreed! Urchin Hurler or even just 1 Shield Bugs can totally mess up Luchataur
