Whats your shot timing in the settings? Some people shoot better with early-late, but most use very late cuz its somewhat easier i guess.

The only reason you should go to mycourt is when you create a new jumpshot and wanna test out the animation, practicing there won't make you a better shooter in rec & 1s or park.

Especially park, you have the most random delays there. I wanna see you shoot the ball from 3, send some videos or sumthing cuz you really got me curious with that 17%.

I feel like some people experience the same thing in 2k23 that i did in 2k21. 90+ 3pt rating and nothing would drop even if my life was depending on it, no matter how i tried to time it.

Does anyone in here believe there should be a kick system placed into nba 2k24 for the rec? I’m tired of randoms who get missed one time then get the offensive player out of bounds the entire game and throw your games. I believe their should be some limitations to this and that you can’t just kick people loading in. But why not make it available after someone has D+ or lower teammate grade with more than 4 TOs. These type of toxic players ruin the random community and makes it where people only want to play 2k if they are playing with 3 or 4 of their friends

The pg misses a guy open one time and the guy goes toxic, stops playing defense, gets 3 seconds, doesn’t inbound the ball, etc. I play the 3 or 4 majority of the time and when I’m running with randoms I may get 4 shot attempts or I may get 15 but I never go toxic. No player is going to be passed the ball every time they are open it doesn’t happen irl why would it happen on game?

You would also look mad goofy in real life crying about not getting the ball so you don’t inbound it and stop playing defense lol

Hi, all. Stupid question [Xbox Series S]: Sometimes in My Career games when I try to shoot using the X button, it passes to someone instead. Seems like it happens a lot when I'm in motion or I've just received a pass, not when I have icons up for passing. I do believe they should be sped up a lot but the guard I play with has an 88 and he dots people through the zone. I run the 3 or 4 with 80 pass accuracy bc I’m secondary ball handler and I can make some passes but not the ones he makes.

Pass accuracy should determine both if it doesn’t you have to add another attribute in that says pass speed. Just think it should be 69 or less equals no bullet passer 70 to 77 bronze 78-85 silver 86-92 gold 93 and up hall of fame without having to equip the badge if you get what I’m saying

honestly the whole engine needs to be redone. Everyone always so excited about the game looking good, but half the crap that happens doesn't even make sense. Arms going through bodies, the ball going through bodies, the ball magnitizing to hands that are out of position, rebound chaser is hella overpowered, speed boost through certain areas, the contest system is awful and rewards bad defense, etc. I could go on and on. What probably irritates me the most is someone stealing a full court pass at like half court. Why is the pass that low?!

Especially having the next gen consoles available but you don’t want make the game to realistic either then a lot of people would struggle bc they have no basketball iq. I do like the idea of strength impacting how fast you pass the ball bc it’s not good for anything else other than post play. that's what lower levels are for lol. You can play basketball without a superior IQ though. Agreed, strength is pretty much pointless. They could even have it help with dunking. Like if Shaq was going for a dunk and ran into Jimmy Butler in the air, JB probably gonna die😂. But on here it's all an animation trigger so these really skinny guards can always dunk on bigger ppl. Agreed, no game will ever be perfect, but they have to stop catering to the content creators and make a playable game. Stop allowing people to make these builds with only like 60s in shooting and they can shoot 9-10 from three just bc they know the jumper. In fact, the lower the 3pt rating, the more inconsistent your jumper should become or something to that affect. Deadeye so weak yet it's a tier 3 badge. Badges shouldn't do more than ratings tho, that's another problem.

Height and shooting ratings should lower contest percentages regardless of their perimeter d ratings. 2k acts like great defenders never get scored on. Speaking of IQ, can our CPUs get some next year! Nothing more annoying than when you beat an AI off the dribble like 3 of your players cut to the rim... or when you have a fast break, your AI comes and stands next to you. Why don't our AI run up the floor. Ever notice how hard it is to get a fastbreak if you're not the one taking off without the ball?

Online server delay. It takes a lot of getting used to. I’d recommend 1. Taking meter off 2. Sticking with the same jumper and trying to learn the online timing instead of repeatedly switching jumpers.

You need to use all the attribute points available. The Potential says 76. The build creation is complete when it's at 99. Finish adding to the attributes ok the left

the dribble in 2k23 is terrible and i can say that since i main a 6'3 guard with a 78%

game play is WAYYY to quick... now n days all ppl doing is spamming "speed boost"... even tho the "speed boost" isnt rrly a speed boost and its mostly because the game speed is way to quick and because of peoples acceleration

it seems as if yall tryna make 2k "balanced" soo that people who are not good or dont even put alot of hours into the game can still win.. and i speak for everyone when i say we dont care... thats there fault if they dont wanna grind the game like everyone else...

dribbling is soo stiff that.. you dont even need to dribble to score
