From YouTubers I’ve watched & players I’ve played with they’ve stated that once an attribute is max, you cannot put a cap breaker on it. You have to use it on attributes that are not maxed for your build so if you have a 94 max three ball on your build, you cannot go higher than that. It has to be an attribute that you do not have fully upgraded all the way my close shot is a 66 it max’s at a 76 for a 5”9 point guard I can only use my cap breaker on that attribute because everything else is maxed out which means I have no point in adding my cap breakers. It’s true bc the taller your build is the cheaper the finishing animations are so they can take the risk on putting their shooting up high instead of a smaller build having to figure out the more well rounded to matchup with taller builds which is why my strength is a 69 at least in my experience
