The main issue is 2k pacing is super bad s1. So then s2 and 3 feel like stale seasons with no progression. It makes pack content less effective. It is why 2k need to remove gems and go back to the drawing board because they don't know how to manage hundreds of different cards at the same time while managing a power curve
