You have a few options for bases. I would start with Scottie Pippen with Carmelo/Beluba releases on a 60/40 blend.

If that doesnt feel good for you, i would try JR smith or Matt Ryan. I think some dudes are using culver this year too for a base>?

Honestly i actually had a problem with my meter shooting yesterday too. I greened this nearly full bar and it teleported me timing to just outside the green window.

Granted this is a free throw and i dont use meter otherwise for shooting. But this was not something i had seen happen to me before.

The numbers in the build aren't everything.
Especially if it's working.

I have done bad builds based on numbers, even my 1st 99 OVR.
But I've tweaked things down in some areas and have some high performing builds without eye-popping max stats.

I'm not saying you CANT have success, i would just say generally, this woulld be a net negative to most teams.

I mean generally speaking right, you cant space the floor. So someone using that build, they are going to be standing dunker which limits floor spacing right. Then furthermore, the benifit to that normally would be you have a horse on the O boards right? But in that case, they are just clogging spacing with no benifit there. Granted they can finish, which is cool, but the build is selfish in that your hurting your teams overall ability to finish in order to facillitate your own with limited benifit otherwise

in short, an inside center is a selfish build to begin with. One without offensive board is EXETREME sellfish, and personally, i dont want to play with someone using a build like that.

not to mention, with 70 board, you may even struggle with defensive boards, meaning even if your playing great defense, they have a high chance to extend possessions against you.

Understood. Most of my success comes from knowing basketball.
Hell, I play without a mic and no voice audio and I can be MVP of many games scoring just 5 points city style, or only 12 points or so 5v5.

I agree with this part in the end. Rebounding is one thing I don't sacrifice on my inside players. I even rebound well with my 6'7" PG.

What cracks me up is these guys with 99 DD or 99 3PT. You can make a much more well rounded player without maxing an individual stat.

It's all so 2K can be like "look, that wasn't any better" and reintroduce RNG. The problem, Mike Wang already talked about it. To have a pure green window in a balanced game (eg: not this one), you'd have to have a much smaller green window. But if they did that, the casuals (who already struggle to shoot high percentages even with the massive green window) would struggle and not wanna play the game. So the other option is RNG, but then people complain about that too (even though good players will still shoot better than bad players, even with the RNG)

people complain and blame every shortcoming they have on the game. Then 2k changes to cater to those people, and the game is worse off for it.

Honest opinion, they need to stop acting on every community feedback, people generally cant be honest with themselves.

I'm on a 2-3 year cycle. It's not worth the annual commitment to me. And with approach, this is honestly one of the better iterations of the game in my recent experience.
Of course, I'm not casual than hard-core. And I'm absolutely more realistic than arcade style.
Outside of the 90%+ shooters, I've been enjoying the game.
