Although on mentioning this, many people would point to Battlezone, it lacks the thrill of slowly finding better weapons and attachments and then gearing up for a fight while traversing the terrain. Although this MAY be difficult to implement in 2D, a wider tunnel system could work perfectly.

But back to the mechanics of it. First, players can pick up various weapons, items and attachments from CRATES in specific locations (i.e. the HOUSE in ESTATE). Then. if the attachment (i.e. REFLEX) can fit one of the guns the player has equipped, then they can attach it by opening up their inventory by pressingi and then dragging said attachment to the gun in their inventory. Additionally, players need health items to regenerate health (which does not regen naturally) and can pick up PERKS naturally.

Players can be dropped into the field from A SINGLE PLANE, and this mode can be played in duos or solo, w/ the option to party.

Upon death, if there are still surviving allied players (a duo partner), their ally can do something (idk what) that takes a long time to revive them (for balance ofc). If all allies are dead, then they are ejected from the game.

Also a storm would be cool..
