During its early stages, cloaked introduced the feature where users could utilize "professional" user IDs for their cloaked identities. These user IDs were essentially a blend of the username we registered with and a numerical value. It would be highly advantageous if there was a means to incorporate actual names into a cloaked identity with some privacy safeguards (use initial of first name for instance)

[email protected] just doesn’t cut it for job hunting. My suggestion would be something along the lines of including numbers with names in the event you have users with similar personal names. So for instance

[email protected]

Where 001 will be unique to this specific John Appleseed and 2345 would be randomly generated for a cloaked identity.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback! This is something that a few users have suggested and it is something the team is looking into. At present we don't have an ETA but it is in the pipeline.

I just realized that I have a few domains that might be good for Cloaked. They are apt.id, frwd.mx, & sender.is. Should I contact Cloaked about it? I do have a lot of stuff tied to them though and apt.id is a premium domain so I’d have a hard time letting go of them. But if a lot of people like them, I might be willing to give them up

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think that it would be better for the community to have these domains instead of me. So I’ll contact them anyway
