What is Refer a friend program? :

  • Refer a friend is Ledger’s referral program that lets you invite friends to buy Ledger Nano wallets and get $10 in Bitcoin once they complete the purchase.

Who is eligible to participate in the Refer a friend program? :

  • You need to own a Ledger Nano wallet and have an Ethereum address to create your referral account.

Is there a minimum amount of Ethereum that I need to have in my account? :

  • There is no minimum amount of ETH required to participate in the program.

Can I delete my account? :

  • You can delete your account. However, keep in mind that you won’t be able to create a new account with the ETH address you’ve used once your account is deleted. Also, you won’t be able to claim rewards that use the referral link connected with this account.

When will I receive my referral reward? :

  • You can claim your reward after the 30 day waiting period is over. After you claim the reward, you should receive BTC in your account within a few days.

I received the referral link. How long will the link be valid? :

  • From the moment you receive the referral link, you have 7 days to use it. Please keep in mind that after clicking the link, you must complete the purchase within one session.

Is there a limit on the amount of referral rewards? :

  • The maximum amount of referral rewards that you can receive is $1000 in Bitcoin per year.

I’ve purchased a Ledger Nano using a referral link. When will I receive my reward card for claiming $10 in Bitcoin? :

  • The reward card will be in an envelope that is included in the package with your Ledger Nano. The card should be undamaged and unscratched. To reveal your code for claiming $10 in BTC, gently scratch the card.
    The time it takes for your order to arrive depends on the delivery service and your location.

I want to return my Ledger Nano. Do I need to return my reward card as well? :

Are users residing in certain countries restricted from participating? :

  • There are no country-specific restrictions. But please be aware that due to international sanctions and local regulations, Ledger can’t ship its products to certain countries. You can find the list of these countries here.
