If you wish to reduce the number of notifications, you can mute a channel, which will turn it grey and not post any alerts to updates within that particular section! Hold down the channel name on mobile or right-click on desktop to bring up the "mute channel" option.

If you've already muted the channel and you're still getting too many notifications, you can suppress @/everyone and @/here alerts through a category or channel's Notification Settings. Or head to the server's settings, where it'll suppress all of them!
