Final Fantasy VII is a classic.

Final Fantasy VIII i wasn’t as impressed with.

Star ocean series has some great games. The tales series has some great games too. Dragon Quest. I can’t wait to play VII again. I loved that game. Although the random battles sometimes were too much because they were too often.

The Trails series is a mixed bag for me. I sometimes love the games. Others seem to go on too long.

Mass Effect trilogy is among my most favorite. Andromeda was a let down from the pacing of the trilogy.

I have a dodgy little dragon pet rpg on switch, and it's quite good (the best I could find of that genre) but not even close to be on par with better games.

I miss petz hamsterz from ds.
it was simple but quite satisfying in cleaning the cage, petting/holding the hamster, and letting it free roam in your room.

shame that there's this gap in those kind of games now, and they're just terrible or don't exist.

I went back to AcNH. One villager said I’d been gone 3 years and a month. Another said 3 years two months. I have a one million bell debt to pay off. I don’t remember having an ugly pig villager. But this is where I am. There are so many flowers. I picked and sold some. Definitely not the way to pay off the debt. I filled my pockets and got 560 bells.

I did sell all duplicate furniture because my storage is almost full and I can’t make it larger unless I pay the debt.

My house is cluttered with items and gyroids. 😨

Every day there’s a shiny spot you can dig and replant. It gives 1,000 but you can plant 10,000 Im pretty sure. So instead of 3,000 at harvest it’s 30,000. Also possible to plant 99,000? But that one is NOT guaranteed to give all and could sink your bells. Gambling tree

Ah if you have 10,000 I recommend doing that because it’s guaranteed. Google says “10,000 or more = 30% 3x amount planted or 70% 3x 10,000” so going above that is gambling lol but right at 10,000 you get it back tripled

I think yes daily money rock too? Dig two horizontal holes so you don’t get pushed back too far to hit. Should be able to hit to fill the entire surroundings with whatever pops out if you keep hitting. If you take too long though it stops dropping anything early

It actually has 2 areas you can light candles! By the portals that constellation has 2 parts. You can toggle up and down between friends and realms like normal home. And then further back there is a pedestal with just the friends

Deltarune’s first few chapters do all this insinuating Dess is just “gone” but not what that means , other than it’s uncomfortable for them to talk about . Kris shakes / gets uncomfortable when it’s brought up, but Chapter’s 3 & 4 HEAVILY imply (tw deltarune spoiler theory, death, parental abuse possibly) || that Kris knows where she is and/or what happened, or might’ve been there and had a hand in it. at the end when the bunker opens and kris hesitates, it’s bc Dess is either in there or whatever happened happened inside. The code to the bunker is Dess’ birthday. (which kris actively tries to stop the player from learning.) If you input that same code in chapter 3 in a secret room, you find her guitar pick and it falls through Kris’ shaking hands. (there’s a lot in game implying kris might lose an arm)

later when you fight the knight, when it first appears it’s “sword” has the shape of a baseball bat (which Dess used to play). when it “roars” it’s ribcage and body distort, to where it looks skeleton like. it also “knights” Kris, implying a connection deeper than we’re aware of

to add, Carol Holiday seems to know the knight and have some hand in “plans” with the Knight, and Kris knows about these things and tries to keep the player from knowing. There’s a scary theory that Carol is a bad mom and might be literally puppeteering her dead daughter for power (not sure of why yet) but yeah. || deltarune is SCARY and i have a big big feeling we are going to be emotionally destroyed

this is a steam built system, gaming laptops are just a slightly higher powered laptop with no guarantee it’ll play the games you have.

If steam is making this it will be similar to the steam deck when that first came out. They will make it just enough to run things well but not the highest quality. Gaming today is a gamble with optimization too so this may even be how devs make pc ports for games where as long as the machine can run it then they will list it if a lot of people buy this

I think this will be at 700 usd for the higher storage based on what it has. This is steam trying to get new pc users / console users who want to start looking at pc as a option without hassle.

Also the switch 2 is actually a "good deal" parts wise. 400 shoulda been the base price but it really depends if you value pc usage or Nintendo exclusives more but I think either are good and that's per person

If the machine is too expensive no one would get it but this feels like it was to get console people's attention so it can't get too high or else it wouldn't do well but steam knows that
