It’s not the fishing goes from a bit chill to being way too difficult. There is no way to change the settings. After taking five weeks to catch a required fish I stopped fishing.

There’s also platforming which is terrible and no way for anyone to help you with it, or to turn it off. Took me months to finish that. Would never start it again.

Then they haven’t added new story content in over a year.

My top 5 favorite Zelda games are Zelda Majora's mask, Zelda ocarina of time, Zelda twilight princess, Zelda wild waker, and Zelda skyward sword.

I feel like Zelda wild waker is the closest Zelda game that you can compare with Zelda breath of the wild and Zelda tears of the kingdom.

Even a Zelda wind waker prequel would work. There's theories on why Zelda wind waker has so much water. Some people think Ganon got a hold of the triforce and tried to flood hyrule.

from a business standpoint, i can see this making sense. Do a bunch of their IPs a few years later once they can more guarantee a good number of peopel have the console and can even purchase the games

I think the switch 2 might be better than the PS5 and Xbox series. The system having 120fps is a big jump compared to the first Nintendo switch. Yes it has the same performance as the PS5 and Xbox series however my reason is because you can take it on the go. You can't do that with the ps5 and Xbox series.

Atari 2600, the classic gaming console was released with a 199 price tag in USD. Thats 990 USD in today’s currency.

That’s my thought too. The console is about 100 more than the previous switch. Which is 8 years old. The game price for a kids racing game is ridiculously high. Families love playing together and that’s a good game for that. But most parents aren’t going to want to pay 500 to get one game and a console. Or even more if their kids want more than one game.

50-60 dollars and the parents would be more willing to buy two games.

Well not the very first PC. It had Internet the speed for it wasn't even good at all. The only benefit of early Internet if any that it was more secure.

Funny thing is back than most people would prefer a Mac over windows. The earliest UI for windows was very clunky at the time and the Mac UI was more clean so that's probably the reason why most people preferred a Mac back than.

That's misinformation. Almost all physical games will still be on the cartridge just like normal. The game key cards are just for special cases. Switch 1 also had something similar, where there were codes inside of physical game boxes instead of cartridges

very slow paced cute game, it’s got character customization where instead of choosing an animal you can use all kinds of assets from different animals to make your character like u could look like a raccoon but have antlers if you wanted

for anyone curious of switch 2 sizing compared to deck!!! (imo the fact that they’re claiminh it’s more powerful/advanced than a deck but it’s more flat/compact doesn’t sit well with me but that’s just me; i think powerful computers need room to be computers and don’t think cramming them into small spaces is a good idea esp for heavy gameplay/heating even with fans)

The story is really good. It’s visually stunning. Just wish they had a photo mode. Because it’s so pretty. I am spending a lot of time looking at the scenery. The battle system is a bit hard on and off. I have it on story mode too. I’m be battle, I found out later, is optional. Took me five tries. My characters have died a few times.

Playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and found a cave. It has a huge DANGER sign on it. What could go wrong? There are no save points. Just checkpoints. Found the checkpoint with no trouble. Along comes a boss. My characters are level 4 with under 200 hit points. The boss dealt both characters nearly 2000 damage. Died. It restarted the game at the checkpoint. I turned my characters around and they ran out of that cave so fast. 😂😂😂

I've played Luma! It's pretty entertaining. I'd say it's much more loose than the typical kind of farm game.

Ok that was Doug Bowser that said that and in a business standpoint that is not a smart business move because companies are trying to sell product. The Nintendo president that issued is Japan's president of Nintendo which is the main president of Nintendo.

also them threatening to brick people’s consoles for modding when they already know a large portion of their users enjoy modding is crazy, making people pay over $400 for something they can’t use to their liking is yucky

also it’ll just encourage the community to get more creative about it

Well Nintendo has always been against modding systems not surprised with that

also that doesn’t change what i said, if nintendo headquarters was still unsure then there never should’ve been a price announcement until they were sure bc otherwise it’s just sneaky to come back after preorders and say “whoops! might be a slight change”

and modders aren’t just gonna stop just bc they don’t like it lol theyd be better off focusing on making games with actual protection software rather than just bricking systems

Honestly the whole thing said MSRP pricing in the Nintendo direct also only one person at Nintendo said to hold off on buying a switch 2. In a business standpoint you don't wanna say to hold off on buying a product when you work for that company. It's just not professional in business to say that. Reggie wouldn't even say that.

You do know MSRP means the recommended retail price. The only reason it would go up is because of tariffs.

At least it's not the Xbox series price increase. The Xbox series is basically more than the switch 2 at this point. There's also possiblity of the PS5 going up. Same goes with the PS5 pro.

1000 dollars? I have a regular PS5. I don’t see why I need the pro. I do not criticize a game when the fps isn’t where I think it should be. As long as the game seems smooth enough and isn’t stuttering I’m fine. I have played video games for so long that they were probably only 1-10 fps. It’s not a dealbreaker for me.

I looked. Early games ran just under 30 fps because of the televisions at that time. It’s still not anything I complain about.

I didn’t even know, when I installed Loftia, that it was even going to show fps on screen. 🤷‍♀️

I am actually the same. I’m not extremely picky about the graphics being extremely HD or anything like that as long as I can play my games without any issues

That’s why I prefer console. The games are designed to work with the system. PC and Mac are harder.

Tbh when it's comes to modern PC gaming you don't always need the newest graphics card. You can always go one Gen backwards and still be fine sometimes. Unless you go with a super extremely intensive video game.

maybe bc most games i play nowadays are made on pc first but console used to annoy me having to wait for ports esp when i had a switch. nintendo has one of the worst porting systems that would force studios to get all new publishers who often wouldn’t update the game or communicate with players and it was just too much. PC is usually first release for the games i play

House Flipper, Fabledom, there’s another i can’t recall but those studios all got negative review bombed upon release to switch bc nintendo wont just let them port normally and the new publishers didnt actually care

i’m so glad go go town is getting to publish it in house on switch bc i would probably lose it if they got burned by nintendo

I know switch often has bad/buggy ports a lot now. It didn’t have so many early on. I think a lot larger publishers were hoping switch two would have been released not long after the PS5 and Xbox released. I wonder if the switch 2 will be better with ports. Guess we will find out. Cyberpunk is one.
