You can self host with Termux

But you might need some knowledge of Linux, and your phone needs to be connected to the internet 24/7 for your bot to work. Sometimes you may need to overcome your phone manufacturer's "optimizations," such as leaving your screen turned on so it doesn't go into sleep mode.

I recommend using old/unused devices. You can use almost anything that works on Android
