Currently, the vanilla foliage tint isn't applied to Chipped's leaves. This leaves them looking out of place compared to their vanilla counterparts.
Applything the tint to the Chipped leaves (at least the lower leaf layer) would make them fit significantly better.
I made this proof of concept by removing the leaves part of the apple oak leaves texture and applying the remaining apples as an overlay
