Crown moving is really really important and I completely missed that it was possible until I was watching a youtube vid and saw someone using it
There is a tutorial tip, but it's very early in the game when you're still absorbing information - I didn't even realize it existed until a week later when I was watching my kid play a new game on the switch version 
A persistent reminder similar to the recall companion one would be helpful on the deck screen when you have a crown
