#Cursed Crowns are too restrictive in an unfun way.

These were previously Cursed Charms, which were admittedly pretty easy to work around. Which in turn spawned the idea of Cursed Crowns instead.

On paper, these do add a challenging element with a bit of freedom. For example, the Glass Crown (-2 HP) isn't forced onto any companion. You get to decide if you want to use it, at the cost of -2 HP.

The biggest issue is a lot of these Cursed Crowns cannot be placed on non-companion cards. A very fun part of this game is Crown combos, finding a strategy that's good and putting the pieces together to enact it.

Unsure how I feel about them being non-removable. It is a difficult restriction, which goes in hand with the Bell system. But at the same time it forces you to commit to a card/companion very early on, which can feel lame at times.

Preferably, these Cursed Crowns should be able to be placed on non-companion cards. Perhaps they can have two effects, one that affects companions only and one that affects other cards only.

For example, Weak Crown cannot be placed on things like Shell Shield, Molton Dip, Sun Rod, etc.

And the game can force you into having useless Crowns. Choosing to put Glass Crown on something like Big Berry early on is fine. But picking up Weak Crown later on, it can't be placed on companions like Spike or Snoffel.

And I can't choose to swap the Cursed Crowns around, which means I can only put Weak Crown on something like a Scrappy Sword or leave it in the backpack. A complete waste either way.

That is not challenging, it's punishing you for not waiting to distribute your Crowns until the final fight which is silly.

Maybe just make them removable would fix all the issues.
On the other hand, the point of Cursed Crowns is to apply a restriction so that Crowns are no longer just a "free" broken mechanic.

the original ideia was that they could be swaped at any time... not sure why they made so that they can't be removed
