With that I mean it would be pretty cool to play as the baddies trying to get to snowdell so they can free the frost guardian to start the wildfrost

Instead of ascended you could fight descended (as in heirs), generated to mirror/oppose your winning team.

I loved the molded version of Slay the Spire when they did exactly what you stated above. I would love that for wildfrost.
