Because in the battle you neither see the the charm under the card nor the inscription. I can not remember if any other charms leave the boost text on the bottom. If anyone recalls you can mention it in the comments below as well

So the problem is really that cards are half-hidden at the bottom, and their right side is hidden by other cards? I think that's been brought up before, but I'm not sure if anyone's working on it. It'd be such a nice UX improvement. Should be simple too, since it should be just a couple numbers to adjust in how the hand of cards is displayed. Just sitting there, and also when you're hovering over it.
