#New uses/appearances for hub world characters

while the hub world characters in wildfrost all have interesting and fun designs/personalities, i realized that after unlocking everything, there's never any incentive or reason to click on any of the buildings ever again. the hub world basically becomes another menu to click through to start a run.

i think it'd be interesting to use these characters for other features, story or otherwise, so they dont feel unnecessary after you've completed all their unlocks.

i dont have a specific idea in mind, but perhaps small story quests for each character after you've unlocked all they have to offer. they'd give you missions with challenges like "win with X card" or "kill X boss with X status effect" which would reward the player with some story bits and maybe a charm or card unlock at the end of it

I also feel the same about those buildings and I like the idea of small missions to complete in order to give incentive to come back. This is something different but I was thinking those challenges could grant you a small bonus for actual or next run. Example : You choose a mission from the buildings and after completed , it could grant you a choice of card to add , remove one from your starting deck , ability to reroll an item from the shop... it could also be a bonus granted to one faction leader and it would encourage you to play something different the next run. I also like the idea of story bits , just this one would be great too.

Another idea : Those missions grant you one token when completed , you could stack 3 of them for a run and they grant you the ability to reroll an item and price from the shop.

yeah a way alter a run before it starts or something could be cool. just more stuff in general to make runs different each time help
