Teeth charms on enemies is stupid and overpowered. I understand some enemies have that built into their design, but the random charms on enemies is overpowered and very much a NPE

for clarity: Maw jaw, the BOSS of one of the fights on the second stage of the game deals 5 damage per hit (one more than teeth charm) and he can be frozen so he doesn't deal damage at all, while the teeth charm can't be block in any way but still deals 4 damage whatever the cause.

I feel that if teeth charm was just reduced for enemies, it would be much more palatable. The way to get around teeth/minimize teeth is to use items and companions that have big single hits, rather than frenzy. I do think that's an interesting part of the game and would be sad to see it go completely. However, with it being 4 teeth, which is more than half the health of most companions, it just feels oppressive when placed on high health enemies.

I love how cardboardbones agree, but still votes no x'D
4 dmg seems too much for me as well. In early game, it's half hp for almost every unit, and more than half for a lot of them.
I got it recently on the triple pingu, had to waste 2 turns to kill him with tar blades, and after a miscalculation, I died trying to execute him with leader. Unfun.

I guess my brain is "no they should not be removed, yes they should be nerfed"

But in hindsight, OP does not mention removing teeth charms, just that they are strong.

Technically, the author did not say remove, altough it could help being more precise, like nerfing the amount specifically for enemies, or adding condition so it can't end up on super tough enemies.
The wrongs of doing quick suggestions 🤬

There had been discussions to nerf teeth overall by giving it a weakness, like Frost. I'd rather teeth itself have a work-around, since nerfing the charm would make it much worse for the player, and keeping it the same would keep the RNG factor way too high for difficulty spikes against the player

I'd at least settle for it being 2 dmg not 4. That kills 50% of allies. Or limiting it to no more than one enemy per fight. I just got out of a battle where both front row enemies had teeth charm. Nothing makes me hate this game more.
