I have a deck where I have two Shade Clays and a Soulbound Skulls crowned so that I can kill several enemies right off the bat. I started a fight where I didn't actually want to copy the Soulbound Skulls, so I had two Shade Clays in my hand. There's no way to start the battle now! All I can do is play the Shade Clays on each other endlessly.

Unfortunately, neither kreggo or nom and stompy will ever attack until the crown phase ends - but that is a cool idea!
I've also seen someone who used that with "add overburn to all enemies when consumed" and that was quite fun
