Modern switches between plugin and method, WindowsNowPlaying and Auto Mode, Auto only uses Spicetify(Spotify) or WebNowPlaying or web plugins.... The issue is is that WindowsNowPlaying is bugged, so only Auto works right now, Modern prob still works maybe since it's just using Auto
.....
To sum it up, WinNP grabs it locally and finds the music info online, while WebNP grabs it directly from the browser (Chrome,Firefox, etc.), and same applies to Spotify for Spicetify, which grabs everything directly from Spotify
