i shoot a photo with my... crappy phone, and just made a cube in blender... still dont quite know what to do. if anyone can help me with feedback i would really like it polysmile

Maybe find a realistic model of a knome and try implementing that the same way, it'll look way more natural

right now, due to it just being a cube, I feel like it's hard to get a grasp of if it really blends in well lol
