Sorry! I tried to delete the post because I figured out how to fix my problem on my own, but when I deleted, all it did was remove the message but left the header. Any idea how I can remove the header? Thanks.

Sorry, I don't get the option to delete. All of the other options are there, but not delete. I may lack the required permissions to delete it since I am fairly new here.

don't say sorry, there's nothing to say sorry for. Probably just a bug or something I guess. Everyone should be able to delete their own post so it's probably not the lack of permission, but do the "close post" option come up when u right click it?
