So, I just recently got the true ending, and decided to play again on Steel Soul mode. I installed AllHallowNest Enhanced on Lumafly. It says in the description that it lets me meet the hollow knight at the beginning of the game, but I'm already 20 mins in and there is no sign of him appearing. I'll attach an image if I'm not sounding very clear right now.
