Did anyone ever make a "Floor is Lava" challenge mod? it's a really cool and simple premise, and as a clueless non-modder, i would imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to put together (?, just guessing, i really have no idea haha)

I looked around a little bit, but I couldn't really find a mod that fills the function, so here are some ideas for how it could take shape:
I guess the main idea is that the mod would have to be divided into a "pre-claw"-form, and a "post-claw" form.
1.
Before claw, if you could detect when the knight is grounded (which has precedent in the FiL TAS mod that Jarlyk used), you could have a configurable value that ticks down anytime the knight is grounded, and deals damage upon reaching zero, then resets. this way, it stays punishing to land on the floor even if you jump up again, because you still lost some time on your "lava" bar, so to say.
it (the value) would have to be set quite high, to make it possible to survive some of the long walks of earlygame (or potentially make it so healing is possible while airborne/moving/continuously pogoing?)
The downticking would need to not happen when the player has no control to avoid messing with interactions, as well as the initial walk-in animation of entering a new screen.
2.
Post claw, one simple way to adapt the challenge would simply be to either lower the value that ticks down, or make it so you take damage on contact with the ground immediately no matter what (would probably have to be tested to make sure it's playable haha).
Anyway, these are just some thoughts haha. would be super cool for challenge runs and so on and could probably mesh pretty well with other mods that affect the core movement of the knight, providing interesting interplay.
That said, as a non-modder who doesn't understand anything about development, I really don't know how feasible it would be to put together, or how much work it would take.
