The HUD.png is intact and has all the sprites I expect, but it just hasn't applied ingame. Most other sprites, including OrbFull.png, appear to work. It's just HUD.png and some of the spells as far as I can tell. Willing to do any additional investigation to uncover the source.

I think I remember hearing that Linux might be case sensitve? Try changing it to Hud.png

spice pulsar
#

yeah linux file names are case sensitive

#

happen to know the required case for all files?

#

it looks to be CamelCase for the most part. What's Sprint.png control?

#

Changing the names on HUD.png (Hud.png), VS.png (Vs.png), voidSpells.png (VoidSpells.png) and wraiths.png (Wraiths.png) seems to have fixed things. Sprint.png also probably fixed sprintmaster sprites but I don't really wanna actually bother and check

#

I'd be down to help TWP and the all skins gdoc fix Daughter for Linux users

TWP is generally not very active anymore and unfortunately given that Linux users are a pretty small minority I don't think they (or other skin makers) will bother changing the capitalization

ok. worth writing an FAQ entry at least?

My understanding is that the correct names should always be how it's named in the Default skin folder

#

At some point maybe a more general Linux FAQ will be created, but no one has made one yet, mostly because it just doesn't come up that much

okay so maybe VS.png is correct (my character had the void version so i didn’t check properly)

thanks for the help
