A dark upgrade to your focus (like descending dark and howling wraiths) so it doesnt stand out in the inventory, although im not sure what it would be that isnt already done by a charm

Focusing releases a shockwave that stuns but does not damage enemies

When you focus and heal yourself, it could creat a protection, which nullifies a hit/ 2 if you use deep focus

However, this protection does not stack, I think this makes the upgrade more balanced
