When I try to enable, update, or uninstall Pale Court, (Pretty sure the specific mod is irrrelevant) it says it's unable to access the mod in the mods folder, I tried copying the directory it states the error is in, and it won't work, so I delete until I was at the mods folder and open the disabled mods, it works, but then, I try to open the Pale Court folder, and it says "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable", so then, I try to delete the folder, nothing happens, hovering over the folder says it's an empty folder, which, obviously, it shouldn't be, to be specific, I am using Scarab+.

How to fix Installer Errors
- Make sure Hollow Knight is CLOSED.
- Make sure that the Installer isn't in your Downloads folder (Desktop or a folder on the same drive as your game install is best).
- If the installer is in a
.zip, then you must Extract it - Right-click the installer file, and select "Run as Administrator"
Make sure you're running Scarab+ as Administrator, as mentioned below
and that you don't still have the folder open in a File Explorer window
It's not necessarily an issue with the installer, more-so that the pale court mod's folder is corrupted and because of that it can't access it to uninstall or update it, meaning I can't reinstall it to fix the issue.
Did you try what I said?
Yes, opening in administator didn't change anything though.
In that case, you may want to try rebooting your computer, and then trying to delete the folder
I restarted my computer and it still isn't deleting.
If you're still not able to delete it after rebooting, then you're having a hardware issue, and seemingly having harddrive failure.
- You'll probably need to run a Check Disk command, to have windows verify your hard drive, and fix sectors of it (general instructions on that can be found here ). Note, this can take a while to complete, so you'll want to start it, and then do something else while it runs.
- You should also verify that your Hard Drive isn't completely full, as that's usually a cause of hard drives starting to have other issues.
Alright, the issue has been fixed, I feel stupid for not mentioning it sooner, but the mod was on an extended storage device, all it took to fix it was a quick scan and repair of the extended storage device and it was uncorrupted.
