Trying to mod but it says my EXE is invalid | Hollow Knight Modding | Page 1

Not sure whats going on here. Whenever I select my hollow knight.EXE it gives me a message saying its an error. I uninstalled the older version of scarab, it was saying the same thing. Should I just uninstall and reinstall hollow knight?

How to fix Installer Errors
🔹 Make sure Hollow Knight is CLOSED.
🔹 Make sure that the installer has been Extracted from the .zip and that the new folder isn't in your Downloads folder.
🔹 Right-click the installer file, and select "Run as Administrator".

Specifically, make sure that you're running it as Administrator
