You may want to also check your ModLog
ModLog.txt can be found in the same folder as your save files:
Windows: %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\
MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Team Cherry.Hollow Knight/
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight/

To easily get ModLog on Windows:
- Press
⊞+R - Copy and paste this into it
%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knightand hit "OK" ModLog.txtis in this folder.
Note: ⊞ is the Windows button, in between Ctrl and Alt on your keyboard
lore master depends on korzutils
and in the modlog this error comes immediantly after lormeaster but i dont understand it

Although LoreMaster might be what's affecting it. I'm not sure if it adds something extra to going there
the mender bug lore script is in there
This is a known issue in loremaster. I suspect itemchanger did remove that the door is open by default, causing this ability to be unobtainable through normal means
i tried using a save editor to fix it but it still didnt open
im having the same problem expect it wont stop happening like if i remove the mods that require item changer then launch then add the mods again and make a brand new save it still is closed
The module which controls if that door is open by default is applied when you create a save file. You only can get around this if one mod, like rando I'd assume, adds that module. Or like manually grant you the ability via the option/save file
oh yea before this glitch happened i was playing a rando then i was like i think im done for the day with rando's and now the glitch appeared
ok uhhhh i just learned something about this glitch its not cause of ItemChanger its cause of Lore Master i tried disabling lore master then killing mender bug and the door opened then when i launched the Lore Master Mode the door was closed and when i kill mender bug its still closed
i think the reason why is since mender bug is still standing despite me hitting mender bug since the game see's that hey mender bug didnt go upside down dont open the door
just realized it isnt even cause of the Lore Master Mode its just Lore Master itself
In loremaster it is intended that menderbug can't be killed. Before it didn't cause a problem since ItemChanger had the "open menderbug house" module as a default one ( I suspect). So, as I said, this is caused by ItemChanger although it is LoreMasters fault/job to ensure the module is active

i have an idea! how about someone makes a mod to fix this weird glitch
Is now fixed with 2.3.3. "Fixed" as in I created a new Lore Master Extra file and checked the door.
