So I wanted to make a hk skin and downloaded the creator, however when I tried to set up the root folders I missclicked on a different folder which now makes an error pop up appear whenever I try to open the creator

Ckc is notoriously touchy. You can try resetting it

Oh bother is the bot down? Try that command in a little while. You also could try spritepaxker which many artists prefer (that is "?tag sptitepacker")

Reset CustomKnight Creator Memory
This should fix errors that prevent the program from opening.

  • Press the WindowsKey + R at the same to time to bring up the "Run" window, then enter %appdata%\..\..\CustomKnight Creator and press Enter.
  • Delete the savestate.json file.
  • Run CustomKnight Creator again
