The Peugeot–Renault F1 Team burst onto the 2024 Formula 1 grid as the long-awaited 11th entry, marking a bold return of French engineering to the sport. Led by Peugeot with a 75% controlling stake and supported by Renault (25%) as power unit supplier and technical partner, the team combines Peugeot’s design and manufacturing leadership with Renault’s F1 experience. Based between Versailles and Viry-Châtillon, the project aims to establish a new French powerhouse — fast, efficient, and proudly national.
