The story so far:
2024 - I took the lead of the Mercedes team. The board expected second place in the WCC, so we had a lot of work to do. In the end, Lewis Hamilton took a couple of podiums, three of them being wins, one of them a one-two in Brazil, but Ferrari and McLaren were just gone. We only got 4th in the WCC, but thanks to Lewis's performance, I get to stay at Mercedes for another year. But really, I was on the edge of being fired. Red Bull took home the Constructors Championship, and on the final race of the year in Abu Dhabi, Lando Norris was able to dethrone the cheater Max Verstappen and took his first championship in magnificent style.
2025 - Expecting to see Carlos Sainz in the Mercedes, I went to the next season. I already made a contract for next year, with a five year duration and a high breakout multiplier. And when I noticed a massive cash flow of 560+ million dollars, I immediately knew what to do. First, I fired George Russell and got the old duo of Hamilton/Bottas back together. Next, I went for maxing out the facilities while working on the major technical regulation changes. Thankfully, our car was very good, so we were consistently racking up podiums and wins, even getting double podiums at times. In the end, we prevailed successfully, and not just brought Mercedes back to the top where they belong, but we also got Lewis Hamilton his well deserved 8th championship title.
2026 - We're eight races in, and I can already tell that this season is going to be a second 2014. Lewis already got six wins, Valtteri has two, and both are close in the standings. In fact, we have a lot more than double of the points of McLaren in second place, and even crazier is the fact that Red Bull are having a horrible start to the season, but Racing Bulls with Ocon and Ricciardo are on a roll with a momentary third place in the Constructors. We will soon see what happens next...
