Hi.
So I'm a the end of the season with my own team (Lotus). During the season Williams poached my Head of Aerodynamics (De Beer), so I've poached Prodromou from Mclaren. Many other Heads of Aerodynamics also changed teams. (Screenshots showing this are below).
But despite this I start the new season without Head of Aerodynamics. The guy I contracted is now somehow working for Mercedes with 1 year contract, some people are now free agents, including my previous guy. When I try to re-hire de Beer (starting immediately), after he accept my contract, the game suddenly changes the terms and instead starting immediately (and a 2y deal), he starts working from next season (with 3y deal). I am now soft locked at the start of my 2nd season, as its not possible to continue.
Contract I sent, and contract that got changed are shown on SS below.
I've tried reloading my save before season end and same thing happens everytime.

I think I've got the same issue. I'm at the end of the season (31st Dec) and need a new driver, as Albon is out of contract, but I'm stuck with the same issue of not being able to continue or sign anybody else.
