when sending the initial contract offer you're fine to offer whatever deadline you like but when responding to a counter-offer you have to select immediate or they will lose patience and won't negotiate with you

ive definitely had drivers who didn't want to accept an immediate counter-offer so it's not a perfect fix, you can save before negotiating to retry negotiations if you're comfortable with that
