But a respectable result regardless

I unfortunately missed Q1 results but Leclerc topped it, Norris topped Q2

Lawson is out of Q2

And Lindblad Q1

Mostly the same Q3

So apparently, we cna take an inter the whole way, that'll be fun

Final setups 97% Lindblad 96% Lawson

With Leclerc (again), Hulkenberg and Bearman starting form the pits, we're P13 and P17

But Lawson loses out to Antonelli at the start

Bearman decided to give up lap 1

Lindblad stays put in P17

Norris ran away at the front but Russell is holding Piastri back

On lap 4 Lindblad gets past Bortoleto for P16

Lawson locks up lap 5, rejoining at the back... man

It takes up to lap 15 for Lawson to catch up to anyone, nothing happened in between, wet races are boring

On lap 22 Sainz overshot, losing 1 position

On lap 26 Lawson makes it up to P20, only to be overtaken again

Lawson makes it stick on lap 28, when P19 now

Onto lap 38, Lindblad out of nowhere catches up to and overtakjes Verstappen of all people for P14

With Lawson getting past Bottas for P18

On lap 41 Antonelli recreates what Verstappen did to him in the sprint, except there is no Verstappen

No positions lost either

Nothing is happening we're a good distance from everyone

ON lap 47 Verstappen found the accelerator and is back on Lindblad's tail

On right now that turns up excuses excuses

BY lap 52 verstappen has fallen off again, Botrtoleto and Leclerc are still here tho

On lap 62 Lindblad starts a final push, getting past Ocon for P13

And on lap 64, past Colapinto (who has mechanical issues) for P12

On lap 65 Lindblad got lapped but kept his position

lawson is way far behind in P18 he's basically confirmed there

Norris went pole to flag

Very exciting strategy game

Despite Lindblad's best efforts

Lawson had an unfortunate mistake, well these things happen

SO back to McLaren, who magically fixed their financial issues

I think the new set of sidepods they designed is okay

I'll leave them with a new rear wing

I've gone with this for the June schedule

Piastri is targeted 3rd, Norris 2nd

No affiliates and they both get an extra medium in case of a safety car in the mid race

Gasly crashed out of FP1

So did Ocon

Such is first 2026 cars at Monaco

We top an FP1 of hardly anything happening, poor Bearman couldn't get out the garage

Ocon is not having a good day

We top FP2, too

And Norris also tops FP3

It's close at the top of Q1 but we're there

Also Piastri got 100% at the last opportunity, Norris got it in FP2

Q2 was a bit too close

Luckily q3 wasn't close

We are going for this as our strat, it will either be a really interesting race or a really boring one

No problems at the start

By lap 4 no one else is in sight, gg ez

Hamilton tried taking a shortcut lap 8

Didn't work, he is now last

Btw Gasly is in P4 somehow

Oh and there goes Bearman on lap 9

For some reaosn, the VSC let Russell and Gasly catch up

Fast forward to lap 39, Norris makes his stop emerging P2

Piastri boxes lap 43, getting undercut by Norris, he was P2 beforehand anyway

And then absolutely nothing happened until Perez parked lap 72

Minus the laps between him and Piastri pitting, Norris lead the whole way

And Gasly stayed P4

So what do we have here - okay car, nice money

Some pretty ncie parts coming soon

The chassis won't be made in time but I can rush a pair of front wings

I'll design some nice sidepods in their place

Let's get a good underfloor rolling too, focusing on low and high speeds as that's their weaknesses

Targets are 14th Colapinto 10th Gasly

It is, for once, viable to run an affiliate, so I will

Spain gets hot, so I think it viable to have 2 hards on hand

We may not be fast, but we have inight into setups

Lacorte P16 Colapinto P21

Colapinto got the 100 in FP2

Convinient because his engine burnt afterwards

Gasly gave us hope in FP2
Colapinto was last

Surprise at the top of FP3, he set the exact same time

Galsy P13 Colapinto P15, I just can't seem to get Gasly's setup

94% going into Q1

Russell tops Q1, many different drivers at the top this weekend
Colapinto P11

Q2 was unfortunately really close for us, too close

Overall a very interesting quali, Russell has pole

It wasn't as hot as I anticipated, here's the masterplan

Colapinto stays P7 at the start

Galsy also can't get by the Williams but Hadjar gifted everyone a position, P10

Colapinto tried to overtake Sainz but was pushed off, dropping him to P8

So yeah our current state of play looks a lot like this

These are all point scoring positions so that's nice

But on lap 6, Antonelli and the Astons join the back of the train

And Lindblad spun, he was P19 now last, doesn't matter to us

On lap 7 Antonelli got past Gasly

And on lap 11 the Colapinto train becomes the Albon train

But at leats on lap 12, Gasly got Antonelli back

Gasly boxes lap 19 and emerges P12, notably ahead of Sainz who was a bit ahead of us before he pit

We somehow did a massive overcut

But he wastes no time getting past again

On lap 20 Colapinto boxes emerging P12, behind Sainz but ahead of Gasly

On lap 21 Gasly passes Colapinto

Lap 24: Alonso reaches us before we reach anyone else

On lap 25, Alonso gets Colapinto but Gasly catches back up to Sainz

On lap 27 gasly gets past Sainz

Meanwhile at the front, Piastri is ahead of Russell by a fair margin after the pits

By lap 29 Sainz is very slow, Colapinto can't get by but there's a big gap to Alonso and Gasly

Colapinto finally gets past Sainz lap 32

Sains forgot to turn on lap 36 so threat over

Except he was pinning down a few even worse threats

On lap 39 Antonelli ran a bit wide, but no one overtook him, the threats are finally gone

Never mind after 2 laps they're back

Gasly pits lap 42 and emerges P10, so both Alpines are holding off a Williams and a Red Bull

Well, define hold off

On lap 43 Verstappen finds a way by Colapinto

They're so much faster in clean air

But not Lindblad, he hit the wall

Heavily damaged but still going

Colapinto pits lap 45 and emerges P12, no one around him, the two ahead still need a pit

Norris spins lap 47 but that doens't stop a McLaren 1-2 after Russell fell off in the pit stop again

By lap 54 we're compleyely isolated in P6 and P8, that would be a marvelous result

And Stroll is being Stroll

On lap 56 Verstappen with much newer tyres caught up to and surpassed Gasly, 7-8

And Colapinto on hards has to hold off Anotnelli on softs

Ocon turns in on Hulkenberg on the final lap, just a light touch nothing happened

Yep it's a McLaren 1-2, but also double points for us

No change in the standings at all

So Aston is looking... bad

The sponsor plan was simple to do

But even that has little help

Hurts to see stuff like this

It's a toss up between Alonso and Boya for car 2, I decided Alonso due to having a few new parts

As for the tyre setup, probably just the usual

There were some unexpected people in the top 10 for FP1

FP2 only had Gasly as a shock

Alonso P14 Stroll P22

FP3 looked a bit more normal at the top

But that's a worry

We have double 100%s for setup

Alonso locked in and made it into the Q1 top 10

At least Stroll isn't last

And he's into Q3

Alonso only got his banker lap in for Q3, Leclerc crashed

What is with these strats?

Based off the track graph I'd rather do something like this

Let's see how it goes

Leclerc starts form the pit so we start 8-18

And that is where we stay but Bottas got turn 1'd

Actually make that P7 for Alonso

Everyone is on mediums except the runaway McLarens on softs

On lap 2 Piastri forgot to turn

He's now far at the back with very worn tyres - or in McLaren language, it'll be Norris P1 Piastri P2

On lap 4 Alonso gets turn 1'd which takes him down to P9

But Perez and Stroll get past Ocon for P15 and 16

On lap 6 they get past Lindblad for 14-15

Alonso's comeback arc starts lap 7 with him getting past Antonelli for P8

And Stroll goes off taking him down to P21

I kinda expected that to happen, it's Stroll

As for Alonso, he's glued to the back end of Albon it seems

Not again Stroll...

At least Alonso finally got past Albon

On lap 24 we come in for inters, Alonso got screwed and is P9 with Albon P7, Stroll P19

Make that P8, Sainz got turn 1'd lap 26

On the same lap he tussles with Bortoleto and prevails, P7

On lap 28 Stroll does the same thing with Hadjar who is surprisingly low down, P18

On lap 31 it's wet conditions... long enough to be worth?

I'm thinking it may last longer than the prediction too, let's gamble

Only we go, Alonso is P14 and Stroll P22

Oh yeah it's all going very well

On lap 37 ALonso retakes P7 form Colapinto, weather shows no signs of stopping

And then it suddenly stopped

It was gonna work until that happened

And Hamilton parks on lap 40, so it'll be 12-20

On lap 42 Alonso gets past Ocon for P11

Meanwhile Stroll gets past Lawson for P19

And then by lap 44 we're all alone

By lap 46 Stroll finds battle son both ends

And on lap 47 Alonso catches up to Sainz

...and wastes no time getting by, P10

On lap 55 Alonso catches up to a very slow Antonelli and easily gets by, P9

Meanwhile Stroll takes P18 from Bottas

Bortoleto could once again put up a fight, but Alonso takes P8 once more

The track dries with 3 laps to go, definately not worth the gamble this time

Lindblad parked on the last lap, wonder how the results will view that

Well we finished where we started, though Alonso was very close to Albon at the end

So, the save has bugged out again, don't worry it's fixable but it will take a while, a while that I do not have today or tomorrow, I'll do one Friday to make up for it

Okay, to Alpine it is, First thing I did was give them a much better front wing, they need it

The pit crew have it rough, their sporting director has such a long contact too, F for them

They also made thir own very nice looking sidepods, things ar elooking up in the car department

But the last rear wing they made was terrible, here's a better one

Targets are Colapinto 12th, Gasly 8th

I would be running an affiliate here... if it wasn't a sprint weekend

(they also get 16 lap runs I forgot to change that part)

And now: the most surprising top 10 you've ever seen

The setups aren't looking the best tho

The top of SQ1 looks more normal, Colapinto P11 Gasly P14

That's probbaly why Colapinto is beating Gasly

SQ2 was better but not enough

And the sprint is a Mercedes 1-2, Piastri (and Hulkenberg?) messed up

Colapinto manages to surpass Leclerc to get to P4 at the start

Gasly also breaks into the top 10, passing Hulkenberg

Oh and Perez started form the pits

On lap 3 Gasly takes P9 from Sainz after a tough battle

Meanwhile with the top 3 gone, I'm surprised Colapinto is holding P4

If I'm looking at it correctly, most of the other cars need a pit stop, this could be good

In fact Colapinto scaped his tailers lap 4

Gasly is still defending P9 from Sainz

By lap 5 we have Russell and Norris fighting for the lead - and Antonelli, Colapinto and Leclerc fighting for the final podium spot

Behind them is Verstappen, Alonso and Piastri fighting for P6

Gasly is holding off Sainz for P9

Hamilton is alone in P11

And Hulkenberg leads the backmarker train

By the end of the lap Antonelli catches up to the top 3, leaving Colapinto defending P4

Also Ocon now elads the backmarker train

And Alonso pits, it's P8 for Gasly

On lap 6 Colapinto loses P4 to leclerc, something I thought would happen sooner

On a side note is is very hot, going light was the way to go, maybe the AI don't know that

I know it's common to joke about the UK being wet and cold, but as a Brit I can confirm that's the case in winter, our summers are among the hottest in Europe

Also Hamilton catche sup to Sainz, distracting him and letting Gasly get away to secure P8

On lap 7, Colapinto miraculously retakes P4 from Leclerc

Aston don't know the strat

Meanwhile in the lead Russell's tyres (P1) are very worn, Norris and Antonelli are fine for now but Russell is holding them back before he inevitably pits

And gasly joins the P6 fight

On lap 7 hamilton gets pats Sainz and Hulkenberg is conducting the backmarker train again

The two Astons are still at the very back

As Gasly watches Piastri take P6, Hamilton and Sainz catch up

Also Colapinto is out here at the back of the leading group (still in front of Leclerc)

On lap 9 Perez forgot turn 3

And with Gasly struggling to get past verstappen, hamilton gets past him instead, pushing him down to P9

Meanwhile Paistri takes the rear of the leading pack

After a whole lot of nothing, Lindblad overshot turn 5 on lap 14

Hamilton gets past verstappen so gasly has another shot at P8

And he gets it done

it's 3 laps to go and no one besides the Astons pit, that surprised me, a lot of them need to for sure

If we use out tyres with 2 laps to go here, could a podium be possible?

On lap 15 I pit Colapinto early to try an undercut, he emerges P16, leading out of those who have pit

Gasly pits lap 17, emerging P16, Stroll and Colapinto ahead have pit already

Hulkenberg pits lap 18 and emerges behind Colapinto, who moves up to P13

Leclerc can last on his tyres a little longer

BY lap 20, Gasly catches up to Stroll and Hulkenberg, Sainz is way behind

On lap 21, Gasly is easily past Stroll for P13

Leclerc pit on lap 22, and Colapinto got the undercut, P10 for him

Leclerc catches up to Colapinto lap 43... but due to Hadjar being slow and holding back Albon, he has a tow to defend with

Albon takes P7 lap 44, but we still have Hadjar (who we can overtake then pin with)

And yes the two McLarens are way in front

On lap 46 Antonelli had a go at Leclerc, their fights drags them down giving Colapinto breathing room to pass Hadjar

And on lap 49, past Antonelli out of nowhere is... Gasly?

And past Leclerc too

Colapinto finally gets past Hadjar lap 51

Gasly gets past Hadjar too on the final lap

A very nice result after all that

Things are looking good at Mercedes

Nothing to do in the meantime, they've got work to do (the sidepods are bad, the rest is good)

I turned up to them having a shut wind tunnel

But here's an interesting bit of news...
Lewis Hamilton announces retirement at the end of the season

Targets are Russell 2nd Antonelli 6th

FP1 sees the usual duo in the car

What you're about to see may just blow your mind

Who is this guy topping FP1?

A wet FP2 went much better

Russell had a great lap in FP3

Double 100% at the same time

Antonelli needs a new ERS, he will take a grid penalty for this race

We went out earlier than usual in Q1 because very favourable conditions appeared, and it got us through

Disaster struck in Q2 - Russell locked up on his first flying lap, losing so much time he couldn't get out for another one

And Antonelli just didn't want to Q3 it seems

This'll be a tough race

This is how we climb back up

Antonelli beat Hadjar off the line for P19

As Russell is ahead of Perez for P14

Meanwhile at the front, Piastri won

Russell pushes Colapinto off at the end of lap 2, P13

On lap 3 Leclerc missed turn 8, sending him to the back

This means Gasly is P2

And on lap 4 Russell takes P11 from Ocon

Meanwhile Antonelli cannot get past Lawson

He finally does it lap 6

And he takes P16 from perez lap 7

And at the back Leclerc hits Bottas trying to get passed, both damaged

And Russell raches the points after squeezing past Bearman

On lap 9 Lindblad is looking towards his firs points, but Russell is now right behind

Maybe he can have one point, but P9 belongs to Russell

On lap 10 Antonelli reaches the back of the train Russell passed a few laps ago

Getting past ocon was easy, P14

On lap 11 Russell takes P8 from Sainz on mediums

While Antonelli struggles with Sainz, Russell is now also last but 1 in a train

Antonelli surpasses Sainz lap 12, P13

And Russell takes P7 from Hulkenberg

Make that P12 for Antonelli, passing Bearman

Moving on to lap 14, Russell passes Alonso for P6 - there is an 11 second gap ahead so I don't expect much more, but P15-P6 in 13 laps is pretty amazing

On lap 15 Leclerc has a collision once again, this time with Lawson

Lawson hit Leclerc again as he tried to rejoin, Leclerc is out

I use this time to box both cars, it's only a little earlier than expected - Russell emerges P9 Antonelli P14

On lap 17 Russell retakes P7 form Colapinto who hasn't pit yet

Antonelli got away from Bortoleto, next car is 5 second away

After Piastri pit, Gasly leads on lap 19, Anthone would be proud

Also on lap 19, Hadjar (who hasn't pit yet) slowed dow a massive train letting Antonelli catch up

And Russell is once again behind Lindblad, who is yet to pit

Russell took P7 and Lindblad immediately pitted

Hadjar pit lap 21, With this Alonso and Sainz actually got away form Antonelli

But not for long as when Sainz lost the tow Antonelli caught back up

Hulkenberg pit lap 22 giving Russell P6 again, 10 second gap ahead, probably where he stays

He very annoyingly broke up the Antonelli Sainz fight

The camera was very bad for it, but Bearman crashed lap 24

Antonelli got ahead of Hulkenberg on lap 29, which puts him P9

And Gasly pit again so he's way behind in P3

It was once again not seen on the camera but:
Antonelli was taking so long to get past Sainz, on lap 31 Hulkenberg decided to do it himself
Sainz spun, making the trio hit each other
Antonelli has a badly damaged front wing, he has to pit for a new one

Antonelli emerges P17, P16 is realistic for an ending

And Antonelli takes that P16 from Stroll lap 36

On lap 38 Antonelli catches up to perez, P15 maybe?

Colapinto misses the bus stop

And Russell is now behind Verstappen

Vertsappen is very good at defending though, and it's taken Russell's confidence from max to this

And Russell finally surpasses verstappen on the last lap

It's also when Antonelli finally surpasses Perez

What a race that was for Russell, and Lindblad got his first point

Antonelli did well too, even including a crash that was not his fault

Hold on a second, remember when I said about the wind tunnel shutdown passing to other teams? It didn't come back on when it was supposed to, I'm just trying to figure out where the state is so I can just turn it off myself

Hungary has been very hot and very hard on tyres, here's the masterplan

As the lights go out, Gasly immediately loses P2, Piastri is actually P1 he had a very nice start

Bearman stays P14 but ocon is up to P12

And Lindblad rear ends Stroll, both badly damaged but still going

They were behind us so it doesn't affect us

Lindblad gets a penalty

On lap 3, Bortoleto's softs get past Bearan's hards

I'm not that worried, softs suck here

After a long fight, lap 7 sees Ocon take P11 from Hadjar

By lap 9 the only drivers with tyres comparable to ours are Norris Lindblad and Stroll (the latter two have pit already) - Ocon is hunting down Colapinto for P8 (Antonelli and Hamilton have also pit)

Ocon took P8 on lap 15 but because Leclerc spun

Albon is helping Colapinto keep Ocon at bay

It's a 7-8 on lap 16 but Bearman is being followed by Antonelli on newer softer tyres

Antonelli can't get past Bearman but Gasly (who has pitted since) can, Bearman still P8

Looks like poor Antonelli butchered his tyres trying to make a pass work

On lap 22, Ocon passes Colapinto before Galsy can

On the same lap he comes in, emerging P13, just ahead of Leclerc

Bearman comes in lap 25 and emerges P13, behind Antonelli

Ocon is P9, still holding leclerc off, Colapinto has also pit and is now P10

Btw it's theusual at the fornt, McLaren runaway Gasly alone in P3

Leclerc still can't get by but Colapinto and Albon join the train on lap 27, Leclerc's tyres are getting worse and worse so hopefully their's will too, both on softs

Oh no, Leclerc found an opening lap 29 and took it, that gives him P5

Antonelli and Hamilton have also joined this train

And Albon, it's crumbling apart

Ocon is going very slowly

Ocon can hold off Russell, he has that going for him

Meanwhile with Bearman, he's trying to fend off Hulkenberg for P12

And Alonso is the next one to try and pass Ocon

Yeah it's not even close 3 second gap lap 42, we're 9-10 now

But they now have the power of each other to help defend what they have left

Never mind on lap 44 Leclerc eased past Bearman and headed straight for Ocon

And on lap 46 Bearman and Albon got past Ocon, he's just so slow

bearman had a pit issue lap 48, he emerges alone in P14

I decide to pit Ocon lap 49 to hopefully make him faster, he emerges P14 just behind Bearman

On lap 55 it's apparent Bearman is still faster than Ocon

They haven't met another car yet, but are 10-11 after some pits

On lap 58 getting lapped by Piastri saw the Williams cars catch up to thenm

We dropped Sainz on lap 59 btu Albon is still a threat

But probbay not for long, can those softs even survive to the end?

Once again Q1 was strong, I was not made aware Colapinto had a penalty, someone is getting an email

And it's a first pole for Hamilton in a Ferrari

So it's kinda an alternation between inters and wets it seems

And we double 100%'d the setups second time around

And Albon suffers another race-ending crash, this time with Bearman, early safety car

An overtake actually happened lap 5 (and it nearly did lap 4), COlapinto takes P11 from Sainz

One more top 10 crash and he gets points (not Gasly pelase)

And on lap 15 he gets it done against Bottas

At the end of lap 17 it's almost wet time, so we'll box for wets

Gasly remains P1, Leclerc is closer than he appears

Emerging P19 only ahead of Bottas, Alonso is back ahead

Russell and Lindblad (who Colapinto was ahead of) are still on inters

By lap 20 Gasly is once again running away in first, this is a miracle

On lap 22 Colapinto finds himself at the back of a train led by Lindblad on inters

On lap 24 we reach inter range, I think pitting is a good idea (those vertical lines are 5 lap bands)

Colapinto comes out P20, hopefully this is worth it

Gasly emrges P3, just behind Vertsappen

And then everything was ruined with a safety car

On lap 42 we reach inter territory, but I don't think it's worth this time around

Because of how much it heats the tyres when it's dryer, I set them to minimum pace, givesme a massive tyre advantage against the AI who seemingly don't care for heat

And Gasly has a nice gap to Leclerc too, it'll likely stay that way

At lap 44 Colapinto took P12 form Lindblad

And immediately lost it again

And immediately took it back again

On lap 48 Bortoleto crashed out

The VSC ends on lap 50, lots of drivers pit when we didn't have to thanks to our track, we're actually 1-2 now, that's Colapinto in the pic

On lap 53 Antonelli approaches to challenge Colapinto, he has newer tyres so wouldn't be surprised if he gets past

Since nothing else is going on, Perez is alone in P9, can he takes Cadillac's first points?

And on lap 59, Colapinto gets away from Antonelli again with a lap buring ERS

But not for long as he rejoins with Piastri in tow lap 61

Before we head to Monza, I bring some news...

Bortoleto makes the move to Alpine

Alpine have confirmed they will part ways with Franco Colapinto at the end of the 2026 season, opting to sign Gabriel Bortoleto in his place
It was rumoured that Alpine spoke to a variety of candidates to replace Colapinto, one confirmed to be Arvid Lindblad, all of them rejected the initial offer Alpine gave them. After this, seeing him without a confirmed drive, Alpine approached Bortoleto as a last-ditch effort to find someone better than Colapinto, and he accepted

Now we're focussing on Mclaren, who have the car but not the money, so don't expect much on the backend

Why did this event have to come now?

I could technically buy it, but I am in debt so I will pretend like I can't, who knows I may roll McLaren next race too and be in trouble if I do

Here's the pit crew plan this month, at leats there's that to do

In FP3 we were nowhere to be seen

Norris P19 Piastri P22, hope that doesn't keep up

Piastri has 100% setup, unsire on Norris

Q1 is out first real look at the pecking order and it looks good for us at the top - until Lindblad of all people put in an insane one right at the end

Q2 went pretty well too

Lindblad is so washed

And pole goes to... GASLY?

I noticed in practice it can get very hot, so going light should be a good play

Piastri had a good start, Norris had a bad one, 3-4

Norris was struggling to re-overtake Russell until Piastri showed him how it's done lap 4

And unlike usual first plac hasn'r run away, we're still here

The Williams drivers came together lap 5, sending Sainz down to P19

Overtaking Gasly is hard, with our duo overtaking each other a few times, until Norris snatched the lead lap 8

By lap 11 Norris is gone, Piastri is still stuck behind Gasly

He can't overtake on lap 13, but Russell can

Russell pits lap 17, leaving a big gap to gasly in the meantime, Piastri cna cach up quick but Russell probably gets an undercut

We box both cars lap 22, Norris emerges ahead of Russell (even after a 6.5 second stop), Piastri behind

The good news is Galsy pit lap 24 and emerged behind Piastri

It's a 1-3 once Leclerc in the lead pits

Even then it's probably fine

On lap 28 Alonso rear ended Bearman who is now out, very helpful camera

On lap 35 Gasly appeared behind Piastri somehow, we have energy so let's just burn that and shake him off

The plan did not work, still here a lap later

Sainz forgot turn 4 on lap 40, to the back he goes

Catching up to Russell looks unrealistic, with his hards he is gaining on tyres over us so we can't use that to our advantage this time

On lap 44 with the help of a pack of lapped cars, Piastri broke free from Gasly, 1-3 pretty much confirmed

And Leclerc parked lap 48, safety car

And it took us to the end Norris wins

I would love to say so, for once there's no debt

Even though there wasn't much to do - targets Piastri 3rd Norris 2nd

Madrid is a tricky one, it is hot but also high deg, I would like to say the strat is do more stops on softer tyres, but that's what the AI would do for sure, is there any other strategic advantage?

This is Madrid on the calendar but there is obviously no Madrid in game, so it's being held at Barcelona-Catalunya

I'll say things are looking up at the start of the weekend

But it's fine, we're McLaren, we just overtake everyone

Which caused Hamilton to overshoot turn 1, to the back he goes, 5-6 for us

After which by lap 4 we are leading a massive train going all the way to P14

Never mind, Colapinto ran wide and we're alone together

And lap 5 sees us (at least Norris) catch up to the leading pack

Yeah Piastri couldn't cling on

Verstappen develops a problem lap 6, Norris gats past and Piastri catches up

Verstappen is really suffering, Piastri easily past too (and behind them is Hadjar and Alonso fighting for P7)

Lap 8 sees Perez spin turn 1

And Norris is past Gasly for P3

The problem now is the two leaders trading overtakes, no space for us to slip by, we may be here until the pit stops

Never mind Lap 11 Leclerc makes a very poor attempt at an overtake and was punished by Norris

That also meant Russell has some distance on us, but we should catch up soon, hopefully before Leclerc's revenge

Btw Alonso won the P7 battle

Lap 14 sees both cars break away form out little pack, one in a good way one in a bad way

Luckily Piastri is quickly back

Piastri pit lap 19, jumping Gasly in the process and emerging P9, no one ahead has pit

Norris pits lap 20 along with everyone between him and Piastri, Norris emerges P4 Piastri is now P5

And top 3 are yet to pit

Leclerc boxes lap 22, only just losing out to Piastri, 3-4

Verstappen pits lap 23, 1-2

In fact, he ends up P11

Leclerc has however established himself as a threat to Piastri

And on lap 24 Russell pit, wedging himself between Piastri and Leclerc, it's a Mclaren 1-2

And thanks to Russell, Piastri has some distance from Leclerc

But not for long, on lap 26 they're back

He held off as much as he couldn, bu after running out of energy Piastri loses P2 to Leclerc on lap 31

Norris has a massive lead btw nothing up with him

On lap 39 Russell missed turn 1

And Piastri boed ane emerged P10, everyone ahead needs another pit

Gasly overtook Verstappen (who is yet to pit again) on lap 42 for P5

However, Gasly pit and emerged P4

Norris pits again lap 45 and emerges P2, with Russell ahead on 32% hards

This also saw Leclerc pit and stay ahead of Piastri

On lap 47 Piastri does a surprise attack to take fastest lap and get past Leclerc as Russell pits, 1-3

But this surprise attack wa sshort lived as on the very next lap Leclerc gets by

On lap 57 Leclerc caught up to Gasly, using his tow Piastri is gone, P4 confirmed basically

Well, especially considering Q3 I wouldn't call that bad

I roleld this event but once again we don't have enough for it

Leclerc got past Lindblad but he's a bit far away with more worn tyres

Coming to lap 11 we see Piastri catch up to Bearman and Hulkenberg, Hulkenberg needs to pit so picking off Bearman alone shouldn't be too hard

Bearman was actually much tougher than I thought, it took until lap 15 to squeeze by, Hamilton and Gasly behind have pit and caught up since, Piastri is P4 for now

By lap 17 Bearman has pit, and Hamilton is chasing down Piastri with newer tyres (but mediums)

Hamilton wrecked his tyres trying to get by, letting Piastri break free on lap 20

And Gasly coems for a taste lap 21

He did not wreck his tyres and managed to break through on lap 22, Piastri is P4 but about to pit

Leclerc spun out too so he's not a threat, P12 for him

Sainz crashes out on lap 23 triggering the safety car

We do our pits, Gasly too, 1-3

Perez in P15 hits the wall on the restart, still going but without a front wing, he 5 behind hi are suck due to the yellow flag, Leclerc is part of that group

No problems for us, we're still in the same place

Lap 28: Unlike Piastri, Gasly is keeping up with Norris, but if he keeps going at this rate his tyres won't last him

Terror! In the castle section of lap 29, Gasly squeezes out Norris for the lead

But not for long, the Mclaren is faster on the straights so Norris can just drive past on the main straight

By lap 31, Piastri has caught up again and left the rest behind

Norris escaped on lap 32, leaving Piastri to pick off Gasly for a 1-2

After a tough battle he finally doe sit on lap 37

Gasly can't make a comeback with his tyres so, see you at the end I guess

On lap 47 Perez decides to call a safety car since he was having a terrible weekend anyway

Alright, back to normal time, Williams is a team I haven't been to yet, and look to be doing okay

I used that money to fill the three open design slots

And this is what the pit schedule looks like for October

The chassis Williams made sucks btw

Gave them this chassis instead, wnated to do a front wing but not enough money

Targets are Albon 11th Sainz 9th

No affiltaes, Singapore is usually a one stop so tyre choice doens't matter much

FP1 went a lot better than I thought it would

And now we are sprinting

A good SQ1, both cars through

Leclerc at the back?

Not as lucky in SQ2...

And Norris takes the sprint pole

Sainz needs a softer tyre to get by early, Albon can chill a bit more

Setups are 99% Albon 100% Sainz

We maintain position at the start, but it was close

Lap 3 sees an overtake each, 7-13

But Colapinto takes P7 back a lap later

Lap 6 sees Sainz make another overtake on Lawson for P12

Meanwhile Albon kept trying to get by Colapinto, who has tow form Alonso now

Onto lap 7 and Hadjar also got past Lawson, catching up to and battling Sainz

Failing to pass Colapinto, Albon loses P8 to Verstappen on lap 10

By lap 12 Verstappen has been on a charge, passing Colapinto and Alonso, Albon is atatcking Colapinto once more

Sainz made it past Antonelli at the start so 7-8

On the next lap Albon is past Gasly, 6-8

And on lap 53 out goes Anotnelli

Gasly is slow, Sainz gets by, 6-8

Alright we're back

What a brilliant start from Verstappen getting past Sainz and Hamilton for P4

Hadjar gains 1 place, past Lindblad

But at leats he wasn't part of the 3 car crash on turn 1 (Stroll, Bearman and Perez)

Bearman gets 10 seconds for that

We then see no action until lap 6, where Hadjar gets impatient trying to pass Ocon and crashes into him

This drops him to P17 where he's forced to pit with a penalty

He emerges P21, Perez had to pit on lap 1

At least he undercut Ocon

Fast forward to lap 14 where after no action, Hamilton gets by Vertsappen

So I have Verstappen pit lap 15, he emerges P9, right behind Norris

At the same time, Hadjar has a fight with Gasly

That was a very short lived fight

In fact his fight now is with Hulkenberg

A fight he loses, back to P15

On lap 17 Piastri pit and emerges right behind Verstappen, Verstappen P5 as the top two are yet to stop

On lap 19 Verstappen catches up to Norris and Leclerc, Piastri is likely not a worry while he stays there

After his tyres degraded more than expected, Hadjar has the slowest stop ever on lap 20, emerging P20 behind Bearman

And on lap 22 he can make that pass without crashing
