Practice,
Practice 1: Experiments with set ups and seeing how the update works with the grip levels on track from start of session to end. Finished p10 and p11. Focusing on longer runs on the softs as I will be using them. And comparing that tyre to the hard to see which direction to go into for strategy.
Practice 2. Straight forward session just getting them used to the track etc. Hulk finishes p7. Kmag p9

We found a second from q1 to q3. Even on 90% used tyres.

Race results from yesterday 😂.
Hulk with a p9. Long first stint in mediums and then mediums again second stint but just using aggressive pace for a 17 lap stint and then softs at the end. Worked a treat, managed the softs the whole way and waited for gasly to destroy his and then got him with 3 laps to go.
Kmag- p11. He had a strong start but just couldn’t keep up with hulk over the race distance finishing 10 seconds behind, despite being on a in theory better strategy, perhaps pitted him too early on his softs at the start. Decent enough result though

Race : kmag p8. Was never going to keep Hamilton behind all race but only 2 seconds behind.

Race Australia :
Albon drops from p10 to p14 lap one despite starting on new softs. Compromises his whole race. After planning a one stop we changed to a 2. And got up to p11.
Kmag got a nice start and good pace. Finishing just 2 seconds behind Hamilton. Just his smoothness letting him down with the tyres.
So an okay weekend I guess.
