It would be great if pre-race where you can set whether or not you attack with tyres, fuel and ERS if you could also set your driver to make aggressive overtakes as well to try and make up places into turn one

You mean the things that are under "Driver Options" pre-race where you can select precisely those things?

It would be great if pre-race you could also set your driver to make aggressive overtakes and defense (and ERS battle assist) in the same menu where you can set whether or not you attack with tyres, fuel and ERS

Would be nice if you could just set it to full send for lap one then auto move back to balanced. A lot of the times you got nothing to lose so may as well try to make places in the opening lap.
