I am currently launching a Digital Private Equity firm focused on acquiring and scaling profitable online businesses. We are looking for a skilled Lead E-Commerce Developer to design and take ownership of our technical architecture.

Your Mission: You will be responsible for migrating our newly acquired e-commerce brands from legacy platforms (Shopify, PrestaShop, etc.) over to Medusa. The ultimate goal is to build a highly scalable, AI-ready infrastructure that elevates the performance of our existing e-commerce portfolio. The first mission would be setting up a Medusa e-commerce from scratch to build the process and needs for the future projects.

Your Profile: We are not looking for a digital marketing expert, but you must have a strong understanding of the modern e-commerce marketing environment. You need to be highly comfortable handling API, MCP, and various third-party tool integrations to ensure our marketing and tech stacks communicate seamlessly.

I’ve worked a lot with Medusa.js (v2), building and customizing headless eCommerce setups. I’ve handled everything from custom features and API extensions to payment/shipping integrations and Next.js storefronts.

I’ve also migrated stores from Shopify to Medusa — moving products, customers, and orders, rebuilding the frontend, and keeping SEO intact. The goal is always a smooth transition with better flexibility and performance going forward.
