Hello, please I am seeking for clarification on this statement please. Does it mean we can't use the gift card feature in a self-hosted instance of Medusa?

Indeed, the loyalty plugin(which includes giftcards) is for cloud users only right now. Keep in mind that they announced that it is going to be open sourced and free to use soon™️. There might be a community plugin for it, check discord and npm
