Hello my friends!!! My name is Jorge Miguel Rivera-Herrans and I am the creator of EPIC: The Musical! You can either call me Jorge (pronounced hor-hey) or Jay, whichever you like is fine with me!
I was raised in Dorado, Puerto Rico and I actually used to be studying to become a doctor! When I went to college, I eventually switched from Pre-Med to Theatre, and in my senior year, I began writing EPIC!
A lot of my writing inspiration comes from my love of playing videogames, which is why you’ll see boss battles scattered throughout the show. :)) I’m also super inspired by Anime and animation! My favorite show is Attack on Titan.
I appreciate you all so much for being here and I can’t wait to hang out with y’all!!!
