#Watery Grave on Combat Chain

It doesn't, fiddler's green works because it states "from anywhere", watery grave doesn't have any clause like that so the ability needs to be functional and it isn't when it is added the chain by provoke (since it wasn't a permanent beforehand)
Fiddler's Green is also being put into the graveyard from the combat chain if you block with it correct?
What would be different about a defending Fiddler's Green vs a defending Watery Grave card?
it says "from anywhere"
Doesn't watery grave trigger while the card is in the graveyard? Would that not also fall under 1.7.4i?
actually I guess 1.7.4a covers it, since it is a static ability that states "from anywhere" as an exception
watery grave triggers from the card moving to the gy, it needs to be functional prior to being in the gy
quoting Release Notes:
Watery Grave is a trigger that ONLY triggers if the card is put from the arena into the graveyard, excluding when it is a non-permanent defending card on the combat chain. It also does not trigger if it is put into the graveyard by other means (e.g. discarded from your hand, destroyed from the top of the deck, put into the graveyard from your deck).
