#Prize Splitting PQ Finals

With the PQ season in full swing, I keep seeing mentions of finals where people "split prizes" (likely one player gets the PT invite, the other the GF).
However, reading the Back Alley Oracle (https://fabtcg.com/en/articles/back-alley-oracle-14-forked-lightning-concessions-and-more/) as well as the TRP, my understanding is that this is only possible if you still play the game regularly and not if you agree beforehand who gets which of the prizes (as that would require a concession, which is not allowed after discussing prize splitting).
Am I correct in that assumption or is there actually a legal way to split the prizes and agree which players gets which prize before playing the game?

Players can talk about prize splits
If they do, they cannot concede and must play out the game
It does not have to be a good game. As the article mentions, a player may choose to no block the entire game to create the same result as a concession
At the end of that game, the winner will get the GF and the invite. What happens to the GF after that is not our concern

Sure, but that also means that if a player wants to act in bad faith, they could still keep all the prizes afterwards, as there is no way for the judge to enforce this prize split agreement?
I find the policies about prize splitting a bit confusing and sometimes unapplicable in real situations, but maybe I'm missing something or am looking at it wrong
