#Discrepancy between stated deck size and actual deck size.

Hello I was wondering if there was a policy or rule in place if my opponent declares they are playing 60 cards, but after counting their deck, they have more than that.

Does the magnitude of the difference matter in ruling? Does the competition level make a difference?

Thank you!

Looks like a warning for communicating incorrect game information

#

no upgrade path or consideration for "how wrong" the info given is, obv if they're purposefully providing wrong info that could lead to other infractions

I would also add that they do not have to reveal their deck size before both of you do not present your decks for play (you do not have access to that information while preboarding for the game)

So if Tyler asks at the start of the game, and Nic says "60," then gets fatigued and it turns out it was a lot more than 60 and Tyler's entire strategy for that game depended on that (since they assumed Nic would not play a fatigue strategy), do you roll back to the start of the game?

No

then what would you do in a case like that?

If I was Tyler and Nic presented 70 cards, said he presented 60, and fatigued me, I'd feel cheated

#

but this doesn't seem to fall under Cheating as per PPG 4.2 AFAICT

that would require investigation

if it is that much, and they didn't, like, accidentally shuffle in their whole sideboard there could be another infraction involved
