does massacre check the game state when it is revealed in a clash. for example, if i have discarded a 5 base card from hand in kayo and my opponent blocks an attack later that turn with 'clash of agility' is massacres power 9 if it is revealed as the top card of the deck ?

No, the Massacre would still be seen as a 7 power attack in this situation, the first ability is a function ability meaning it doesn't work unless card is being played
also I do believe the it is a triggered ability that happens when you play (or attack with) ||old templating is throwing me off|| again making it only functional once the trigger has resolved
