This conversation came up the other day, and I'd like to know the appropriate answer.
Playing as Data Doll in Blitz/UPF, if you have Hyper X-3 equipped, and you boost a Hyper Driver, does the layering of the triggers determine where that Hyper Driver goes?
Or will hyper X-3 eat the Driver no matter which way you layer the abilities on the stack?

When the hyper driver goes from the deck to the arena it becomes an new object, so the object hyper X-3 applied to no longer exists. The order you choose to put the abilities on the stack thus indeed determines where it ends up.

That's incorrect. it moving to the arena does not make it a new object. So it will end up under the hyper x-3 in all scenario's it just might first enter play if you stack data dolls ability to resolve first

Ow, I was indeed incorrect. The card is only considered a new object if it leaves the arena or becomes private. Sorry for the confusion.
