Kayo and Zealous Belting

With I notice specific wording on Kayo, Armed and Dangerous that has a strange interaction with Zealous Belting. If I'm reading it right.
Kayo, Berserker Runt only doubles the BASE, not any bonuses (Like Goliath Gauntlet) per the release notes. Kayo, Armed and Dangerous adds +1 to cards not on the combat chain, but doesn't change the base. So, any 5 {p} in the graveyard should trigger Zealous Belting's go again. An I reading that correctly?

Zealous belting doesn't care about the graveyard.

An attack action card with a base power of 5 will have 6 in the pitch zone if you are playing new Kayo, which will satisfy zealous belting's condition, yes
